So, you want your portrait painted? Here is the catch:

Always with the catches, is nothing free in life? The answer is no. Unfortunately to avoid being sued and to protect my rights due to those pesky laws I have to put in a bunch of things up front.

If you would like to have your portrait painted please submit a picture, any thing you consider relevant and a little about yourself. Please understand that once you click send the copyright of all images and documents sent is automatically handed over to me. If you have a picture done by a professional photographer you must get authorization in writing prior to sending it and must send a digital copy of that document to me at the same time. With the copyright you must understand that I can duplicate and distribute all documents at will, which includes for public and promotional use. If you would like to use that image again you have to ask my permission. Upon submission I may deny the project for any reason and will hand back all ownership of the documents back to you. If you are a minor you must provide documentation from your legal guardian.

Please know I have complete creative control and while I encourage you to add input to the process; I do not have to follow any direction or suggestions. Additionally I can incorporate any materials that I see fit. After the portrait is completed you do not own any rights to the images or accompanying material regarding the portrait nor will the portrait be transferred to you. You can purchase the artwork if you like and we can agree on a price before or after the project is completed, however if we do not come to an agreement I can sell the portrait to any seller I desire. I also hold the right to not sell you the portrait if I desire (not that I anticipate this ever happening, but I do have the right). Also upon agreeing to do the project it does NOT obligate you to purchase anything from me. I will bear ALL financial support of the project and all future use and NEVER ask you for any money, ever.
